[Nurses engaged in the fight against leprosy].

Even now in the 21(st) century, leprosy is still rife, notably among poor populations. In the regions of the world concerned, nurses specialised in the disease play an essential role in supporting the screening, treatment and reintegration of patients. In more than twenty countries, the Order of Malta France is acting to fight against leprosy.

Au XXI^e siècle, la lèpre sévit toujours, notamment auprès des populations pauvres. Dans les régions du monde concernées, le rôle des infirmiers spécialisés en léprologie est déterminant pour accompagner le dépistage, le traitement et la réinsertion des personnes malades. Dans plus de vingt pays, l’Ordre de Malte France agit pour lutter contre la lèpre.
