Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease caused by intracellular Mycobacterium leprae. Although specific oral lesions are uncommon, they may occur in patients with advanced stages of lepromatous leprosy (LL). We describe the clinicopathologic data of 13 cases of leprosy with oral manifestations. All cases exhibited LL with extensive cutaneous involvement. Oral examination revealed different patterns of lesions, including red patches, papules, and nodes, as well as ulcers on the hard palate and tongue.
