  abstract = {<p>The article introduces the rationale for integrating ‘ocular’ NTDs and the resulting ILEP ocular leprosy photo database project, starting 1 April 2024, that will support training, e-learning, research, and integrated programme initiatives contributing to the timely detection and management of these sight threatening complications. The photo database is an interesting new development in the leprosy world with potential to address existing data and information gaps in ocular leprosy. Additionally, it is an innovative beginning to integrate NTDs that affect the eyes, so that patients can benefit from integrated and inclusive eye care in the future. The ILEP ocular leprosy photo database project is planned to be operational by October 2024. Calls for photographs with the guidelines will be issued shortly.</p>
