This report, commissioned by WaterAid and Australian Red Cross, assesses what has occurred since this 2006 conference; progress madein terms of equitable and inclusive access to WASH; the different approaches used, and their strengths and limitations. We will present recommendations, priorities and directions for the future. The report uses qualitative methods, including a review of the legal and policy frameworks, technical documents and grey literature from both sectors, as well as meetings and interviews with key informants.
