Anvisa authorizes testing of the first vaccine against leprosy in Brazil

The Oswaldo Cruz Institute has been authorized by Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency) to test the LepVax vaccine, an innovation in the treatment of leprosy. It will be the first specific vaccine against the disease tested in Brazil.
