The Leprosy Research Initiative (LRI) and Anesvad Foundation have announced the second round of call for proposals for RESILIENTD grant funding commencing in 2026. Research proposals on the social determinants of health in the context of skin neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) with a focus on Sub-Saharan African endemic countries are welcomed for application. Project duration must not exceed 48 months and the average annual budget should be between €30,000 and €70,000
Some of the criteria are:
- The project should primarily focus on social determinants of health in the context of skin NTDs.
- The project should involve two or more skin NTDs, and leprosy must be included.
- The project may span multiple endemic countries and continents, but at least half of the project countries must be in Sub-Saharan Africa. This focus should be reflected in the resources, activities and impact.
