Changes in neural control in leprosy after high medication on cardiac autonomic modulation
Abstract
Mycobacterium leprae infection is the main cause of non-traumatic peripheral neuropathies. To verify the effects of leprosy after high medication on linear and nonlinear indices of heart rate variability. To analyze the effects of leprosy according to degrees of disability on the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) at the Otavio de Freitas Hospital located in the city of Recife-PE, through the field research method in the descriptive and quantitative modalities.
