Leprosy cases by the year is still endemic especially in developing countries . The burden of disease is still can be suffered by the patient for a long time caused by the disability that would end up lowering their quality of life such as physical disability , psychosocial impairment and socio-economic impact . It becomes apparent that theres a need to increase prevention of disability by focusing to have earlier diagnoses , post medication monitoring , reducing stigma and creating a community for the affected ones
