Abstract
        This webdocumentary tells a bit of the story behind the elaboration of the Draft set of principles and guidelines for the elimination of discrimination against persons affected by leprosy and their family members, endorsed by a resolution unanimously approved by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2010. The video brings together testimonies from persons affected by leprosy and their family members from different parts of the world, talking about the challenges they faced and still face in order to have their human rights respected but also explaining what this instrument means in the context of international human rights.
